Arrows Learning Academy is a learning partner in the educational journey! Since our beginning, we have been an innovator in education, embracing the opportunity to redefine the ways learning is accomplished by providing out of the "box" learning experiences. We serve Pre-K through grade 12 students and their families with a focus on neurodiverse, 2E, differently-abled, and underserved learners.

We have a strong history of positively impacting lives. We are proud of the strides we have made in step with innovation, accessibility, and inclusion in Education!

Some of our current programming includes curriculum enhancement, neurodiverse learners’ solutions, childcare/homeschool consultation, virtual and in-person course offerings, and tutoring. We look forward to serving you and your family!

What Are Your Staff's Qualifications?

A:

 Our staff memebers are highly qualified individuals from varying backgrounds, and most importantly are passionate about educating the next generation! 

EVERY ADULT REMAINING AT ARROWS DURING THE TIME ARROWS LEARNING ACADMEY HAS STUDENTS PRESENT WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE A BACK GROUND CHECK ON FILE. THIS INCLUDES TEACHERS, STAFF, VISTORS, AND VOLUNTEERS.

How do I enroll my child?

A:

Q:

When & where are class meetings? 

A:

Class meetings vary by each class.  Online classes meet between 1-3 times weekly.

At this time classes are offered in-person in Fishers,IN and virtually online.

We are in the process of working to get funding for our first co-learning space! This space will offer open hours for exploration learning, as well as classes.  Please check back frequently for updates about this amazing project!

Q:

What supplies/curriculum are needed for classes? 

A:

Arrows Learning Academy has not found one curriculum that fits every student's needs. We choose to use a mixture of curriculums and resources to aid in teaching different learning styles, interests, and preferences. We even customize some of our materiald for our students needs.

Materials are provided for in-person classes. 

In some classes students may be asked to use items commonly found around the house, A notice will go out to families prior, if this is the case. 

Virtual learning families are encouraged to have access to a printer. 

Some of our Curriculum Sources: Handwriting Without Tears, Orton-Gillingham, Montessori, and Conscious Discpline.

 

Q:

My child is very social, will they have time to build relationships with peers?

A:

One thing we love about what Arrows Learning Academy offers is the relationships that can be built through our approach. Though class time is for learning, there are many opportunties for students to interact with their peers during every class. Families are also encouraged to build community with one another outside of Arrows Learning Academy.Our staff is also exicted and willing to support students outside of Arrows and enjoy attending special events that they may have. We believe it takes a village and our tribe is the best! 

 

Q:

What is the homeschooling familiy's expected time commitment outside of class hours?

A:

• Some of our families are considered homeschoollers and must be familiar with their state laws and requirements for learners. IF REQUIRED BY YOUR STATE, WE DO NOT REGISTER ANY STUDENTS AS HOMESCHOOLERS WITH THE STATE, AS THIS IS A RESPONSIBILTY OF THE FAMILIY.

• Student are not in class 5 days a week. Families are expected to provide support for their child outside of the classroom hours. Families may choose to use materials provided by Arrows Learning Academy or other learning opportunities to fill in learning experiences. This will make sure that your student recieves the minimum amount of required days for schooling in your state.

How Much Does Arrows Learning Acadmey Cost?

A:

Arrows Learning Academy believe in affordable education for All! 

*Due to this we have attempted to price our services and classes at rates that are affordable to most families. To help with affordability we have also split tuition costs into monthly payments.

*ANY FAMILY WITH A TRUE FINANCIAL NEED PLEASE CONTACT US FOR FINANCIAL AID ASSISTANCE. FAMILIES WITH MULTIPLE CHILDREN ENROLLED MAY QUALIFY FOR A SIBLING DISCOUNT. PLEASE CONTACT US TO FIND OUT MORE.

Why do the rates for your classes and services vary vastly? 

A:

Arrows Learning Academy has received grants, donations, and sponsorships for CERTAIN SERVICES that we offer. Due to these we are able to offer the services that the funding was provided for at a lower cost.

As always, families with a true financial need may reach out to admin to inquiry about scholarships and financial assistance.
